Vote Marla Decker - Hoboken City Council Second Ward

I first met Marla in 2019 when we both joined the Executive Committee of the Hoboken Democratic Committee. From day one I found Marla to be brilliant, honest, and inquisitive. Three characteristics which will serve her well as the 2nd Ward representative on the City Council.

A 20+ year resident, Marla has chosen to raise her family here and has been an integral part of her community for years. Whether it be advocating for our schools, serving on our Democratic Committee, or serving as President of the Hudson Tea Condo Association; Marla is no stranger to hard work and handling difficult decisions. For example, during the COVID pandemic, Marla stepped up to lead her building’s association as President, where she managed budgets in the millions and led her neighbors navigate the re-opening process. All of this on top of an incredibly successful career as a litigator and now with a private equity fund.

If there is anything to take away from my words it is this: Marla is smart and meticulous. As the 2nd Ward Councilperson, nothing will get by Marla, she won’t make excuses about being duped or being unaware. It’s not who she is. Marla holds herself accountable and as such, she will never let the 2nd Ward down. I support Marla Decker for Hoboken City Council, and I hope you will too.
