Vote Lauren Myers – Hoboken City Council Sixth Ward

When I think about leadership qualities, experience helps – sure – but for me, I think about people with energy, intelligence, and compassion. All qualities I see in Lauren Myers – my choice for Hoboken City Council representative for the 6th Ward.

Lauren’s journey to Hoboken is similar to many of us who found our way here for school, work, or simply opportunity. However, Lauren is special, as evidenced by the following. Despite having a rigorous and successful career as a commercial litigator, Lauren has always immersed herself in community service – whether it be representing students with disabilities, serving as President of her condo board, or rising quickly in the ranks of the Hoboken Democratic Committee Executive Board.

The latter is where I first met Lauren, and have been thoroughly impressed with her innovative thinking, determination to find collaborative solutions to complex issues, and fresh idea for how to improve the effectiveness of our local party. Those fresh ideas, I think, are what will make Lauren a particularly effective Councilperson. Experience matters –  sure – but without a commitment to innovative thinking, experience can atrophy to stagnation. Please vote Lauren Myers for Hoboken City Council 6th ward she is the right person to bring new ideas and a new approach to the 6th ward.
