Vote Rafi Cordova - Hoboken City Council First Ward

Compassionate, tenacious, and genuine. That’s the Rafi Cordova I know, the person I consider a dear friend, and the person who I trust will represent the 1st Ward on Hoboken’s City Council for the next four years.

To some, Rafi Cordova may seem like a new entity on the Hoboken political scene, and in some respects that’s true. You see, unlike his opponents Rafi isn’t political… he’s effective. For the past 20 years Rafi has done his work with a focus on helping people and getting results, not on recognition. Rafi hasn’t spent his time posting gimmicky social media content daily to increase followers… no, he’s worked directly with community non-profits to make sure people in need are fed. Rafi hasn’t peddled Trump-like merchandise through a foundation more focused on self-promotion than helping people… no, he’s cared for seniors (doctor visits, housing issues, advocacy) because it’s the right thing to do. Rafi hasn’t gone to City Council meetings just for the theater of hearing his own voice in declarations of anger towards the Council… no, he’s spent years cultivating relationships throughout City government so he can better advocate and lead his community.

Rafi’s worked in this capacity on behalf of his 1st Ward neighbors for decades, but he’s done so quietly, seeking no credit or accolades, only results. In a world where too many are driven by ego, recognition, or selfishness, we need a representative who truly is seeking to simply do the right thing for its own sake. That’s what Hoboken and the 1st Ward needs and deserves, and that’s why I’m supporting Rafi Cordova for 1st Ward City Council.
